In April, we celebrate Laboratory Week — and this histology-inspired soap is our love letter to the lab. As a histotechnologist, the Hematoxylin & Eosin stain is one I know by heart. The pink and cream swirls mirror H&E exactly: pink for cytoplasm, muscle fibers, and red blood cells; purple for nuclei, cartilage, and other structures.

And the scent? Blood orange and lavender — a nod to D-Limonene, the xylene substitute that replaced the smell we all secretly got used to in the lab. Science you can lather up with.

• Wet hands or body with warm water.
• Lather the bar between your palms or directly on skin.
• Massage in and rinse thoroughly.
• Store on a draining soap dish between uses to extend bar life.
